This integration signifies a monumental step in the Foundation’s ongoing mission to bolster the global watchmaking industry, encompassing a diverse range of stakeholders.
An Alliance of Legends
Established in September 2022 by Rolex, Richemont, and Patek Philippe, the WWGF stands as a beacon of excellence in watchmaking. The addition of Chanel, Hermès, and LVMH to its Board underscores a commitment to collaborative growth and innovation within the industry.
A New Era of Leadership
Jean-Frédéric Dufour, CEO of Rolex and the visionary who has guided WWGF as Chairman for two years, will pass the baton to Cyrille Vigneron, President and CEO of Cartier, effective July 1, 2024. Vigneron, known for his dynamic leadership, will steer the Foundation through its next chapter, with Dufour transitioning to the role of Treasurer. Together with Claude Peny as Vice-Chairman, they will chart the strategic course for Watches and Wonders Geneva.

The most recent edition in April 2024 saw a record 54 exhibiting brands and 49,000 visitors, solidifying its status as a hub of innovation and excellence. The Exhibiting Committee, comprised of representatives from the participating brands, will persist in their efforts to enhance the event’s prestige and success.
