This year, Hermès debuted three watches at the W&W, two of which are for men. One is a Slim d’Hermès model, a collection born in 2015. It gets a GMT variant. Another is a new variant of the visually stunning Arceau L’heure de la lune model.

The case of the new Slim is round, 39.5 mm, in 750 5N rose gold. The blue dial features a sunburst chapter ring, snailed centre and date counter, along with a grained silver-toned GMT counter studded with numerals and white-transferred Arabic numerals. It comes with either Rhodium-plated sandblasted gilded or blue lacquered baton-type hands. The GMT is a numbered, non-limited edition.

A true visual treat, this model simultaneously displays the moon phases in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres. This year’s model incorporates a Martian or Black Sahara meteorite dial with inlaid mother-of-pearl moons that disappear behind silvery sub-dials. While this mechanical ballet seems simple, it is made possible by a patented module exclusively developed for Hermès
