Celebrity Cruises, one of the world’s premier luxury cruise lines, has announced the launch of its new ship, Celebrity ApexSM which is poised to transform the way modern travellers experience the world. Celebrity ApexSM is the second ship in Celebrity’s revolutionary Edge Series and comes right after the industry’s most anticipated new ship, Celebrity EdgeSM which was named one of TIME Magazine’s 2019 World’s Greatest Places.
Celebrity ApexSM will revolutionize the experience at sea once launched in Spring 2020. The ship brings together an innovative outward-facing design, visionary spaces, transformational accommodations, the best in the culinary field and legendary onboard experience across 14 guest decks. Celebrity ApexSM is 1,004 feet long 128 feet wide and weigh approximately 129,500 ton. Its cursing speed is 21.8 knots and can accommodate up to 2910 on double occupancy.

One of the highlights is the Magic Carpet restaurant which was a first in the industry with the launch of Celebrity EdgeSM. Once inaugurated, Celebrity ApexSM will debut from Southampton offering a mini season of five sailings to European destinations, including the Norwegian Fjords and the northern coasts of Spain and Portugal. Aboard the game-changing new vessel travellers can experience a new 10-night Capital Cities Cruise with visits to iconic cities including Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Oslo and Paris.
