As an extension of its 140th-anniversary celebrations, S. T. Dupont recently inaugurated its Middle-East flagship boutique in The Dubai Mall. Located on the ground floor of Dubai Mall’s new expansion, the boutique is a true manifestation of the brand’s Art de Vivre aesthetic. High-quality materials receive the most refined finishing to exude the brand’s passion for exceptional beauty.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was presided over by Alain Crevet, CEO and President of S. T. Dupont; Patrick Chalhoub, Co-CEO of the Chalhoub Group, S. T. Dupont’s long-standing partners in the region; and Sean Hepburn, son of the legendary Hollywood actress Audrey Hepburn.

Alain Crevet has helmed the S. T. Dupont brand since September 4, 2006, when he was appointed President of the Management Board. A graduate of the French business school HEC, he began his career with Procter&Gramble’s beauty care division in 1985, rising through the ranks to eventually become Vice-President of Latin America. In 2000, he joined LVMH as President of Givenchy Perfumes and member of the Group’s Executive Committee and was instrumental in modernising and successfully re-launching the brand. Since 2006, Crevet has kept the maison true to its mantra of producing “exceptional products for exceptional people,” while ushering in new technological innovations to keep its products relevant to today’s consumers.
The story of the maison begins with a young Simon Tissot Dupont and his vision of creating exceptional, personalised travel trunks with bespoke detailing for Parisian high society. The S. T. Dupont luggage and leather goods workshop was established in Rue Dieu, Paris, where a range of travel trunks was crafted. Napoleon III and Empress Eugenie were amongst his first customers.
